I've been running 3 miles every day this week and working on bringing my time down. Today I tried something new after taking yesterday off. I ran two miles, threw up on my favorite pants then finished the last mile all in 22 minutes.
Also I'm borrowing a nike ipod thing and it is amazing, I can run around town without looking up distances on Google maps first.
p.s. If you try my workout I recommend you don't wear your favorite pants.
