long island ultimate...

sucks. haha. goose and i just played some pick up with a bunch of people from around the island. the skill level is generally comparable to a summer league game. so it obviously wasnt the greatest, but it was still pretty fun. couple the poor skill level with the windy conditions, and it definitely got a bit sloppy at times.

anyway, it was still fun to run around and throw some bombs. i liked that it was windy, really showed how good my throws are NOT and how much more i can do to work on them.

if its windy, GO OUT AND THROW. don't be a pussy and say ehh it's windy im not gonna be able to throw. that's the best time to get out there and practice your shit. if you can throw in wind, you'll be amazed at how easy throwing is when it's not shitty out. we WILL play in shitty conditions and you must be able to throw in them or you will not be playing. last year at terminus there were tornadoes. we sucked balls at the CUFF tourney in maryland due to the wind. realize now that we suck in the wind, and do something to fix it. become a slater junior.

that's all i got. pick up was fun and god am i looking forward to getting back to delaware and playing with some baller ass delaware punks.
