Anyway, I'm gonna preface this by saying that throughout middleschool and highschool I swam (as in the sport). What this means is I dont like running, more importantly I dont like distance running. So 3 consecutive miles? I dont have the attention span for that yet-- but I am working on it. Here is what I was doing:
7 1/2 minute run on the treadmill, 25 crunches, 25 pushups X3 without pausing for a break.
Anyway, I know its not a great work out, but I'm gonna try to increase each of those numbers and maybe throw in some weights to the circuit or something.
Oh yeah, and I'm tossing the disc around and shit.
Does anyone have some suggestions on my workout? Specifically is there a way I can get the same sort of work out that a 3 to 5 mile consecutive run would get me without actually consecutively running 3 to 5 miles?
